According to Avaaz community, Adidas is one of the companies participating in the market for kangaroo meat worldwide to produce campaigns like Adidas Predator.
The numbers indicate that one million babies kangaroo-seven million adult kangaroos are killed in Australia to supply this industry that is growing.
Avaaz explains that the Australian government sees kangaroos as a product for export, justifying the slaughter with unfounded myths. Adidas serves government information, and says that kangaroos destroy the fields of grain and grass fields degrade.
Finally, we should mention that scientific studies indicate that over 90% of the grain fields are not kangaroos and have little impact on existing ecosystems.
